I purchased this in August of 2009. Once my iPod Nano died after over 3 years of abuse (it actually went through the washer AND drier with no issues!) I was really drawn to the 250GB hard drive of the Archos because it would hold all of my music with storage space to spare. Also, it doesn't have the file transfer red-tape of the iPod. from Amazon.com this is a great new product from archos. Aside from its great apperance it can also do alot of cool stuf. from Amazon.com I already owned an older Archos Av500 and I really liked the durability of this product. I had it for several years and it never failed on me. from Amazon.com Pros: Good sound quality, huge amount of space, fast internet, plays flash applications, plays movies, etc. Cons: Only real con I found was that every time I try to watch a movie, if it starts working hard and I try to pause the movie to let it buffer, the Archos shuts down. not a big con, but considering it's an internet media tablet, it should have most of those problems taken care of. from Newegg.com To all the anti-Apple geeks out there like myself, just swallow your pride and get an iPod Touch. Save yourself the headaches you will have with this subpar piece of French garbage. I figured why pay more for a Touch when I can get the Archos with 5 times the storage.
