this thing isn't as bad as people make it seem. if you don't just yank it out once you load it with your stuff, it doesn't mess up anything. from Target.com I recieved this as a X-mas present. This product constantly freezes and needs to be reset often. I only have 50 songs downloaded and it struggles. It also has poor sound quality. from Target.com I bought this for my daughters birthday and had problems from the start. First it would not turn on, then I couldn't turn it off. I called support and they kept putting me on hold and then he told me that it was corrupt and I needed to attach it to my computer and he had me delete the 500 prerecorded songs. Now it wont turn on again. from Target.com I was unable to load any additional music, and my daughter was very dejected. When trying to return it, I found that Target "changed" the number on the item, and would not take it back, saying I must have bought a different player. (This is the only one I've ever purchased and it matched exactly the ones they carry on the shelves.) I'm frustrated with this Memorex product and Target's lack of standing behind the product! from Target.com My wife got me this player for Christmas and was very excited to give it too me and I was equally excited to get it. The color schemes are good and I had no trouble getting files to load on it when I used Windows Media player 11. It worked seamlessly with it and didn't display any of the other problems that some of the others had other than it was a little slow loading songs. The problem I had with it was the SOUND. from Target.com I purchased this mp3 player for my 7 yr old for Christmas. I started trying to download songs on it two weeks prior to Christmas so he could immediately enjoy it on Christmas day. It is Christmas Eve and I am returning it to the store! from Target.com It is rare for me to return anything but I did with this! I am very disapointed with Memorex. It broke in many ways. from Target.com This is the third time it's done it. 3 - The battery graphic is never accurate, it does not get 20 hours to each charge, it's more like 9-10 hours, which is not a lot considering that when you are done with the player you can not just turn it off without doing a ten minuet restart, so it stays on standby, using battery when you are not using it. 4 - The buttons are too thin and small, they are hard to press and often I accidentally press another button. About the only good thing I have to say is that it does record voice, that's cool, but I could get a $20 recorder for that. from Target.com I'm new to this MP3 player game, but I've had this for 2 weeks and I still cannot really recommend it. First of all much the 4Gb memory is taken up by the 500 songs already added. It would be nice, but most of them are pretty weak. from Amazon.com Bought this mp3 yesterday and by last night I already knew it was a bad product. I can't get it to power up and it has to be plugged in to a computer to get it to come on. As I was scrolling through the songs it locked up and I had to reset it, luckily I hadn't taken the time to upload my cd's yet. It has good sound quality but I can't stand ear buds so I've had to buy a different set, so I'm not sure if it's the new ear phones that sounds good or if it's the mp3. from Amazon.com
