I really can't say anything bad about this player, I am on my 2nd U2 now, gave my 1-gig to my... from Cnet.com (Edited February 27th by rthelen) Though I've only owned this device for a few days, I love it. The sound is awesome, I like the equalizer options (standard selections and custom), it has a built-in FM tuner, and also acts as a voice recorder. The joystick is fairly intuitive, although I did use the manual 1-2 times for help on how to utilize some functions. I believe it is better suited for our needs without the big cost of an iPod. This storages enough music and other things that I am very pleased we went with the iAudio instead of the other name brands. I bought it for playing mostly 128kb MP3 files, and a 5-hour talk program file that is also converted to play faster, without raising voice pitch (using Audacity free software). from Amazon.com I even purchased a separate AC adapter online to remedy this problem, but that was no use either. Then I contacted the tech support, which suggested that I reset the player and upgrade firmware, but in the end none of these options worked. However, Iaudio U2 delivers very good sound and looks stylish enough, the headphones work fine except for falling out of your ears occasionally. OK, this stuff can happen. But the website for Cowon is very tedious and no phone number and eventually you get to a chat tech support system which was of no help telling me nothing more than I would have to return it. We are sending it back again for a 2nd time to see if they can give us our money back or a new unit. We really do love the iAudio line and considering the price and features it is much better than an iPod, but they definitely need to work on what ever this glitch is. Cons: This is probally more because my car stereo is no good or I do not how to set the equalizer optios right, but it sounds like sh** when i play it through a cassete adapter in my car.
