I am an admitted ipod hater. I have the original Zune 30 gig brown brick, so I've been waiting for something like the Zune HD to come out. I will say that I stopped by an Apple store to see the ipod touch to have something to compare the Zune HD with. from Amazon.com Up front - my wife and I are raising 5 young kids, so I rarely sit down and actually write up reviews like this. Music being one of my great passions, I thought I'd share some of my experiences with my latest music-related purchases - the Zune HD 32 Platinum. Even though I realize there are other companies that produce portable music players, this is not going to be an "I love all things Apple" vs "I love all things Microsoft" review - I couldn't care less which you prefer, and competition is a GOOD thing, from which customers generally benefit. from Amazon.com After owning the original 20gb Archos and now a few Sandisks and Ipods, I can safely say, Microsoft has created a true Ipod killer. I have had since launch and haven't had any problems. from Amazon.com Podcasts which I mainly listen to have become frustrating whereas before it was easy to select "played". that option is no longer available. If you sync a "played" podcast, ZuneHD won't remove it from the device like older versions.
