THE BIGGEST PROBLEM YOU WILL HAVE with the x series Walkman's ability to play slacker radio will not be the three station limit. It will be the VERY POORLY EXECUTED refresh capabilities. from Amazon.com The sound quality is really nice on my Etymotic ER-4P earbud headphones. It also sounds great with my Audio-Technica QuietPoint ATH-ANC7 noise cancelling headphones. I used the Sony X-Series Walkman on my recent trip to Europe (but not the noise cancelling feature because I already own over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones). First: I transferred my music collection via the software that comes with the unit, only to find that most of my album cover art did not transfer! When I opened a ticket to complain about this with Sony, they just said use windows media player 11 to transfer the collection. I tried that, wow what a frustrating product. from Amazon.com I own several Ipods and also the iphone and I'm very satisfied with them, on the other hand I've been looking for a good music player for my windows media player (wmp) library for a long time, a couple months ago I found out about this player coming to the market, I always like sony products including a couple of vaio laptops that I own, so I took a lot of things in consideration and decided to purchase it, and let me tell you, I'm so glad I did, the device is beautiful, easy to use and the sound is so amazing I'm pinching myself to believe it (make sure you go to the settings of the device so you can customize it).
