and the price, while it's a little higher than some of the other mp3 players onthe market, is still reasonable for an apple product and you can't beat apple's sound quality.
not trying to sound like i am getting paid by apple to say this but this is really a great product, i love it.
you would think being the #1 mp3 brand apple would make it easier to use a simple player...!
not that i've ever been able to get ahold of anyone at apple to find out why.
my second one that apple sent me after the first one died.
most coolest product that apple has made so fari recommend that everyone should by it
pretty lame of apple to prey on their huge consumer base like this...but other than that, it's a great product, and nobody builds mp3 players with the same quality as apple.
apple wouldnt fix it either after i spent $20 to mail it to them.
apple folks looked at it and gave it a 'diagnostic' check (which was looking in the headphone jack not very scientific) and determined that it must have gotten wet.
downloaded itunes and spent some time locating the executable.then i receved a dialog box stating that windows detected an ipod but no software.advised me to visit apple website for download.download

apple has a lot to do to redeem its products to any discerning buyer.

first i was happy with the new ipod 3rd generation, than i realised: the notes typed in the apple address book are not displayed.
i've bought 2 now and both cannot be recognized by my apple laptop.
apple's dominance in the mp3 player market is not surprising with a quality product like this.
this was my first purchase of an apple product - and it galled me to no end that itunes music cannot be effectively exported or other copy protected music adaopted for ipod, thanks to apple's
this product is pretty average, and exemplifies the standard apple strategy of non-compatibility.
i don’t want to waste time going to apple’s web site … after all, i’ve wasted 2 hours just trying to get the hardware to be recognized by my computer.
before you even touch the apple logo, try anything from creative or iriver first!
another wonderful product from apple, although i am not a mac person and don't own any macs i like a variety of their other products and think this one is right up at the top although pricey for many
in any case, i have gone through a bunch of mp3 players including a 40gb unit, but this is my first video player and my first apple product.
but the package from apple would be much better if it includes a manual with it.
apple should include more with the touches, as a mail client and other basic programs aren't included.
any questions i had were handled by the apple technicians who took time to show me how to use all its options.
i settled on the ipod touch (my first apple product by the way) after a lengthy evaluation.
this newest ipod touch is a beautiful machine and evidence that apple is still the leader in mp3 players/hand-held devices.
this is my first apple product.

i think apple has done a poor job for technical support, i mean after spending hundreds of dollars on an ipod the least they can do is provide a case for it.
hats off to apple for making such a trendy machine..
however life would be easier if apple would sell the nano pre-scratched so as to avoid the inevitable disapointment of having both sides of this devise looking like it has been sand-papered.
i like it for its size, looks, solid build and sound, but i have a few complaints and would never buy another apple product again, this being my very first and last.
i purple heart apple!
i've tried apple's help information, but nothing seems to work and i was told it was not their problem since i did not deauthorize my old hard drive before it crashed (if only the hard drive had
