i dropped in 4gb g.skill pc2-8500 ddr2 1066mhz dual channel ram and it ran at the right speed and timings without having to adjust any bios settings.

i'm using an e8400 wolfdale core 2 duo, two 1gb sticks of a-bit ddr2-800 ram in dual-channel, two sata hard drives, and two ide dvd drives, all under windows xp sp3.
