To make things interesting, I installed Windows, installed applications, ran Warcraft III and the temperature probes never reported above 35C on the heatsink. I felt the heatsink and it wasn't even warm (remember that the heatsink uses conduction to expell the heat and any hot temperatures on the CPU would have been transfered onto the heatsink). Doing a little googling showed that Abit boards don't measure the temperature, they calculate it based on frequency and voltage (or something like that). I've built 6 socket 754 pcs and this was probably the smoothest. I've always had good luck with Abit. Had no problems installing board or windows. Have used several Abit boards and so far have had no problems. Would recomend any Abit board. from Newegg.com it will automatically disable the onboard video if you use a video card too. from Mwave.com computer booted up pretty fast and the onboard video is decent.cons: nothing much, but it would be nice if it had more then 2 sata connectors.other thoughts: excellent board so far, runs very smooth from Newegg.com
