Pros: Fit the specs of the PC I needed to build. It's the only motherboard I could find with dual Xeon processors and an ATX form-factor. Cons: Died within 24-hours of first boot. from Newegg.com Had Win2008 server with Hyper-V running. Virtual boxes kept crashing. Should have bought an Intel board..... Other Thoughts: I should have given up on this board sooner. from Newegg.com Pros: Mates well with Supermicro chassis (as expected). Good IPMI support, especially using add-on AOC-SIMLP-3+ board (purchased elsewhere). from Newegg.com Pros: The Intel 5400 (Seaburg) Northbridge provides each of the quad Xeons with their own memory bus. I understand things happen but this cost us a couple of thousand dollars in extra migration consulting costs..... Other Thoughts: Should have bought a different board or given up on this one sooner.
