Other Thoughts: Not a great platform for expansion, but I doubt it was made for that anyway. probably would be fine for regular people, who don't upgrade comps after they "just work". If I have known about the DDR2 thing, I probably would have not gotten the prebuilt comp, not the fault of ASUS though. from Newegg.com The included software is good (Temp readings, power readings, overclocking software, etc) Cons: Not really a con, but I wish manufacturers started to place the PCI express 2.0 slots away from PCI slots. GPU's are starting to get a lot bigger and my Radeon 4870 card is so big that it takes up an extra PCI slot on this board that left me with one slot left which is now being used by a wireless adapter. Other Thoughts: Great product, ASUS is a trusted name and I am happy with this purchase. from Newegg.com Pros: I love the smell of new hardware. Cons: Rarely outputs anything through the display ports, digital display port doesn't have the right number of pin inputs, BIOS was corrupt when the board arrived. Other Thoughts: I purchased this to replace a different dead ASUS board and I obviously didn't do myself any favors. Should've spent a little more on a different brand. from Newegg.com Cons: No ACC support despite having a 710 southbridge. Teases with some overclocking features but leaves out important options. Other Thoughts: Wish ASUS would add an ACC option and more voltage options to this boards BIOS. If I had the choice I'd swap this board for another more OC friendly manufacturers board, even at the cost of 2 RAM slots. from Newegg.com Pros: Stable Motherboard. Never had problems with ASUS in the past. I like the fact it has like 6 sata ports and intergrated graphic card accomplishes what I need. from Newegg.com Inexpensive upgrade, ran Windows 7 and it worked fantastic for about 30 days. Cons: Dead after 30 days (38 days from the invoice date). Just beyond NewEgg's return period, and who knows how ASUS will handle the request for a replacement. Not much else to say; it's a great little budget board. Cons: Not a con on ASUS's part, considering I didn't pay attention, but there is no PS2 port for a mouse, only one for the keyboard! IDE connector faces out to the right side of the board instead of up--not a con for me but could make wrangling a ribbon cable into an organized position difficult depending on the case you're using. from Newegg.com But my CPU works great in my friends motherboard.
