Pros: This MB was used in Tom's Hardware for their budget OC gaming rig build. Layout is good. from Newegg.com Pros: - Very nice BIOS lets you fine tune nearly everything, without any ridiculous hidden menus.- Was finally able to overclock my CPU to insane speeds after realizing my RAM may have been the bottleneck. Cons: - Using jumpers to adjust FSB:RAM ratios is a pain.- Pushing the FSB past 333MHz changes the PCI-e frequency and makes it impossible to boot or keep stable. from Newegg.com Pros: - Layout is pretty good- Reverse compatibility with 20-pin power connector- Onboard sound and video saves $$$- Passive cooling keeps the noise down and keeps the motherboard uncluttered (so you can install a big CPU cooler--if you want to)- PCI-e x16 means you can always upgrade to a better video card, just make sure you have the room for it Cons: - no SATA RAID- only 4 rear USB ports- onboard graphics are worse than my old ATI x800 card- no digital/optical audio out- didn't seem to OC very well and fumbling with jumpers for FSB/RAM frequency settings was a pain Other Thoughts: Well, I set the jumpers properly for 1066 FSB (I am using an Intel E7400 CPU) and 1066MHZ DDR2 RAM, then tried to move the CPU settings in the BIOS from 266 to 288 (which should have put me around 3.0GHz). I was able to boot into XP, but after opening a browser I got the BSOD and had to change the CPU settings in the BIOS back to auto. from Newegg.com Pros: Awesome motherboard! Other Thoughts: I should have spent a few more dollars and purchased a better motherboard, I'm planning on buying the top rated Intel ATX mobo to replace this one since my case can fit ATX as well. from Newegg.com Pros: Packs an amazing amount of value into the small formfactor and ridiculously easy to setup. Layout is uncluttered and allows any cpu cooler. BIOS has more than decent OCing options and features, usually completely absent in this type of board.
