Zero problems. Blu-Ray plays flawlessly using the full version of TotalMedia Theater. Dolby TrueHD plays no problem with the Gigabyte/NVidia drivers provided and with Vista Ultimate 32 bit as the OS. The only wires I have connected are power, HDMI, and a serial cable to my UPS.

I'm sure when drivers mature under this linux OS this board will work fine. Also for Windows I'm waiting for a driver that will not disable SPDIF in sleep mode so I can put my HTPC to sleep when not in use. Cons: DVI uses a dual-link connector. Dual link DVI supports up to 2560x1600 resolution. The Gigabyte 9400 video card does support up to 2560x1600 but this MB maxes out at 2048 x 1536. Nowhere in the manual or on the Gigabyte website is the max resolution of the DVI output specified.

I am on my 4th RMA. Gigabyte RMA takes a long time to cycle returned product. Two boards were DOA, one had audio and one ran for a week and then died.

Pros: On paper, it seems the perfect motherboard for a HTPC. Cons: Two DOA units received from Newegg. Of course Newegg was AMAZING to deal with, but I was very upset with this lack of quality coming from Gigabyte. I've loved every Gigabyte board I've used in the past, but it seems that QA is slipping.

Tried redhat 5.3, ubuntu 9.04, opensolaris, all were missing some driver. Fedora 11 seems to have everything and works ok. Cons: Gigabyte says to find linux drivers on chipset manufactor's webpage, chipset guys say drivers are built into linux releases. untrue for most current versions of linux Other Thoughts: I really like the video acceleration feature

Pros: NVidia 9400 SLI- FAST!!! Super mobo, great features, well built, but I had to dock 2 eggs because of the driver issues on GIGABYTE website.... BAD driver updates!!!
