After a week of waiting receive a new one but this one did post but very unstable. Updated my bio but still same problem persists. After multiple OS install, I gave up Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer,We are sorry for this inconvenience. Seemed to work OK when it was working. from Newegg.com Pros: Not DOA (it gets the extra egg for this). Unable to use long enough to form any other positive opinions. from Newegg.com Pros: I have been running this Board for over a year now. It started out pretty shaky. It would not go to sleep properly or wake up. It had issues with Overclocking the RAM. from Newegg.com Pros: Put two of these into customers' machines now, Vista x64 has issues loading onto the hardware (install takes longer than other boards, seems to hang, but just let it do its thing and it'll eventually come through) ... but once it's up and running, no issues whatsoever. Asus makes a good product. Mated with Intel E8400 and 4GB of RAM. from Newegg.com It has both IDE and SATA for those with old hard drives, and it has some power saving features as well as a boot to internet feature. Cons: On board HDMI and sound disabled if you install a video card. NOT compatible with all video cards, including the ASUS 4350 video card...nothing in the world I could do to get this combination to work in Vista 32 bit. Other Thoughts: Good board for the money, and a great board for HTPC if not planning on using a video card. from Newegg.com Pros: many functions Cons: I bought P5Q-EM motherboard 3months ago, and found there are many defects with it, like no audio in HDMI, bad microphone, and LAN error after installed it, otherwise it just works fine with CPU Core 2 duo E8400. I sent it to ASUS custom service for RMA. from Newegg.com Pros: Bought this for HTPC application, and this had good reviews. Did not disappoint. from Newegg.com Pros: Used this board as the basis of a HTPC. The Intel GMA X4500HD GPU on this board was designed for 1080P output, and it performs very well for that application. This was paired with a Dual Core Celeron E1600 from newegg, and handled both 1080p and 720p streaming to my HDTV with ease. from Newegg.com Cons: Time spent building computer, wasted.
