other thoughts: i've been putting the intel 3100 through hoops trying to get it to play a current lineup of games , but don't expect great fps or great compatablity.

which i will agree is a bummer would have been nice to see a full x16 support for this board but for what i play its does just fine, i use it more for htpc then i do for gaming .

the biggest weakpoint (lack of 3d power or even flexibility to upgrade to a nice pcie x16) won't be a factor for me because i don't play 3d games .
