Very VERY frustrated with this issue. Even more frustrating, is that the board will let me set the voltage to the 1.8-1.9v needed, and I can set all other timings/speeds to the RAMs specs, but the machine will not even POST on those settings. Other Thoughts: Don't take my low rating against the board/Evga but more the lack of warning that it needs 1.65v or less memory... I feel partially to blame, but at the same time, I feel it shouldn't have been so easy to make that mistake.. from Newegg.com No instability whatsoever. Plenty of room around the cpu socket for huge air coolers. Typical quality evga product. Used evga boards & videocards in custom builds for years. from Newegg.com Pros: Good number of PCIe expansion slots. Hasn't frozen on me, everything worked out of the box, no need to update the BIOS to get going, etc. from Newegg.com Manufacturer Response:Hi,The memory multiplier will depend on the CPU used. If using a Core i5 750, the max is 1333MHz, a Core i7 max is 1600MHz. The only way to go higher is with overclocking, this is not an "EVGA" limitation, but in fact all P55 motherboards will face this same scenario.
