Windows 7 installed from USB no problems. Ton of BIOS/OC options. Cons: The motherboard has 5 on board push buttons power, reset and some other allowing you to OC from windows amongst other things. 3 of the buttons that shipped on my board were mechanically inoperable (did not press) It's not a feature I see myself using a lot so I didn't bother with the RMA since I didnt want to wait for a new board but that'll cost MSI an egg.
Pros: Excellent layout. Lots of fan connectors.
Pros: Fantastic layout all SATA ports available regardless of your set up, No IDE/Floppy, Booted flawlessly. Comes with a ton of BIOS and OC options. Cons: MSI includes onboard push buttons that allow you do such things as OC your CPU from windows. Of the 5 push buttons 3 were inoperable.
Pros: good lay out ,can OC easy ,running 920 i7 at 4g,on water cooler temps 37c ,it was free (birthday gift from my son)I would of given it a 5 egg but there is a problem with the NB cooling you must install fans on the NB to keep it cool I used two 30mmx30mm fans on the NB and a 40mmx40mm fan on the SB "all is cool now" Cons: this is not a MB for the frist time builder !so if you think your just going to pull it out of the box and it going to run like a rockit it's not !lots of stuff to set in the bios, driver problem with creative sound card must install in vista mode when installing win7 Other Thoughts: have liked all the msi MB that have ( p4n diamond,p6n diamond )and there still running and now the eclipe plus I'm hoping it will be good too
Pros: layout maybe. I bought this motherboard because MSI eclipse sli was on maximum pc's best of best list. I knew the list was outdated, so I bought plus.
Pros: Looked like an excellent MB, I have always liked the MSI Boards over some of the other brands. This boards has lots of neat extras.
Pros: seems to be pretty good Cons: ram at 1.65v?
Pros: The Specs are awesome, looks great. Just what i wanted.
The boards lay out is great as well. All of the onboard buttons are easy to get to and easy to read with there backlit LED's. The MSI tech support was actually pretty good, I was able to both call and send in a ticket with tech support where I was able to get the newest Beta BIOS from there file servers. Cons: The only con I have been able to find is that the D-LED2 Would not let the board work right, It seamed to just make the board buggy.
