Cons: Every time I turn the PC on the boot order is different, I have 3 HDDs in the computer and the one that it is suppose to boot to is always removed from boot priority. from Newegg.com Pros: it works without raid enabled Cons: It will not function if you create a raid drive and have non raid sata drive present. Cons: I went out on a limb and tried ASRock for the first time. from Newegg.com Pros: -inexpensive-stable-on board graphics Cons: -layout wasn't thought out, power connections are in bad spots. from Newegg.com Other Thoughts: Built this computer for 82 year old man on a budget and he was pleased. The 2-pin connector vs 3-pin connector for power LED. I wish the motherboard people would talk to the computer case people...anyhow, the pins were on the edge, so removal of 1 pin can be accomplished easily by lifting up plastic stop and re-inserting into center position. Now you have a connector with the pins side by side. from Newegg.com Pros: absolutely none Cons: it came i put it in, and only the fans would start, i waited for half an hour and nothing else happened, i rma and when i got a new one, the fans would even turn on. from Newegg.com When you change the settings from auto to manual, they default to lowest settings instead of current. Other Thoughts: Because of the aforementioned defaulting, I couldn't find what the northbridge voltage was supposed to be. Downloaded ASRock's OCTuner Utility, found it was 1.2750. from Newegg.com Pros: All the features a user could want. Great overclocking options both in the BIOS and in their OC Tuner application. Cons: I had a problem adjusting the DRAM voltage so I contacted ASRock tech support. They where unhelpful and kept telling me how to use it. from Newegg.com Pros: Almost everything works well with Ubuntu 9.10 without any special configuration. on-board GeForce 8200 GPU is respectable and VDPAU support is nice for HD video. from Newegg.com
