Artifacts all over the screen and not useable Other Thoughts: If you use Nvidia AGP - I REPEAT, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO UPDATE NVIDIA FORCEWARE drivers. It doesn't like my corsair ram either, i tried using ATI and artifacts are gone but ram freezes system constantly. Wanna get your own opinion just google ((( asrock 4coredual-sata2 screen corruption ))) Also tried all of the Bios's and actually the latest bios makes screen corruption worse. RMA is in the works and this time i'll go with new Asus board from Newegg.com Pros: This board could be a great way to replace an older mainboard allowing the use of a mix of older and newer cards, CPU's and Memory. Cons: Asrock does not really deal with anyone but its distributors. New Egg is your only real recourse but they only warranty the board for a month. from Newegg.com The video card reseating problems continued and could not load or reload windows. Newegg RMA'd no problem. Other Thoughts: Newegg gets 5 stars, it was the Asrock board that got the 1 star. If your looking at this as a cheap way to drag along your old gear I would say don't. from Newegg.com Pros: Backwards compatible. Cons: Sound did not function out of the box, no solutions presented by ASRock, bought PCI sound card. With a rush order it took 10 days to arrive, order new case which had a bad power supply add three weeks and Newegg walks away from the warranty. Asrock technology support is difficult to understand. Heavy accents and sentence structure that makes following instructions difficult. from Newegg.com Pros: Supports agp, core 2 cpu's Cons: For all the years of building my pcs, this is the first time I experience a board that wont even power up. from Newegg.com Pros: can use my old AGP video card. Cons: Both boards arrived semi-dead. from Newegg.com Pros: As always NewEgg delivery was excellent along with their service. Cons: Showed up with 'ROM BIOS checksum error' according to AMI's BIOS beep codes. Other Thoughts: My customer decided he wanted a new laptop and to just eat the cost of the motherboard rather than to deal with an RMA. from Newegg.com Pros: Nothing at all.
