i was able to confirm with intel tech support about the memory timings supported, but not the problem i was having.
be sure to follow intel's recommend-memory specifications, to avoid trouble.

not true; if you dig through intel's website you will find that it support only 4gb of memory at 800mhz.
pros: running intel pentium d 820 smithfield 2.8ghz very solidly.
The BIOS that was installed on the board I got could not be upgraded directly, and I had to apply a dozen or so step upgrades individually (instructions from Intel support).
I'm currently awaiting to be contacted back by intel.

windows install fine, drivers install ok, system beenrunning stable for long time now,Cons: bios flash no work for me, had to rma to intel because in middle of flash board locked up ( followed intels
it's intel-and so most things are compatible because it is the standard.

i like that the board is straight from intel so the documentation, drivers, and bios upgrades comes off of intel's easy to use website.
