Best Gigabyte Motherboards for AMD PHENOM II X4 940

was a little nervous about ordering at first because it was a gigabyte board (which in my opinion used to be junk, but they have improved by light years).

it idles at 15-16 c when on desktop, and reaches a max of 40 with prime95.this is my first gigabyte mb, and i am quite impressed.

not a big deal yet as i can't use crossfire yet, but i intend on writing gigabyte about it and i'm sure they'll just send me one for this motherboard.

up and very straight forward with many overclocking features, manual is also very helpful, and it comes with a ton of extra sata cables and other connectors in nice packaging, great job gigabyte!!

gigabyte did an excellent job in designing this wonderful motherboard from the layout to components used.

this is my first gigabyte board, and after trying out some of these other brands, it won't be my last.

then it occurred to me:my last gigabyte board did not go past 1.8v for the ram.

other thoughts: phenom 940 be, 4 x 2gb gskill ddr2-800, gigabyte gv-n95toc-1gi 9500gt video, wd6400aacs, corsair|cmpsu-550vx 550wmy first build and it runs like a champ.

gigabyte has thoroughly impressed me with their quality and it was my fault for frying my last board haha.
