i would have expected it to be built in with the webcam some how, or as just a mere passthrough to the microphone input if not standard with the usb connection for the webcam.

with nice wide web pages, but being displayed quite annoyingly 'short' vertically, causing you to scroll down/up more than you ever had to do before with a typical desktop non-widescreen monitor.
