other thoughts: i know this isn't the sharpest monitor with a .28 pitch other higher costing monitors are about .26-.27 dot pitch, however you get what you pay for and to compare a great budget

colors are clean and crisp, the response time is excellent, and even in direct sunlight it remains bright enough to view easily (actually, i had to turn the brightness down to 50% when i got it
