the software for the webcam that comes with the drivers disk is "for use with asus laptops only" wth why send it with a desktop monitor then, i have yet to get the webcam up and running but its 1 mp

i knew the notebook speakers were not very good before i purchased it (true for many notebooks/laptops) but figured i could always use headphones or plug in some external speakers.

doesn't appear to be a microphone, just a webcam, though not a problem as my laptop has a mic.
