other thoughts: whatever you do, do not buy a widescreen monitor that has less than a 1200 pixel vertical specification unless all you do is watch dvd movies in widescreen mode with it.

if you aren't in need of a webcam, and the other asus models are of this quality, than i'm sure those would be an excellent choice as well.this is the best lcd i've purchased.
