Pros: cheap, easy setup, good image Cons: poor viewing angles, non-adjustable stand The Bottom Line: If you're looking for the absolute rock-bottom price on an LCD monitor, Acer is the place to look. But is it a GOOD monitor? from Shopping.com When the screen flickers you can see the individual pixels. This happens after about 10 minutes of use and then it disappears when you turn it off for an extended period of time. Its too bad this happened after the newegg warranty expired because now I have to deal with acer and I have to pay for the shipping to texas. Other Thoughts: Acer provides 3 years of warranty but they make you pay shipping, so in the long run I will end up paying almost half of what the monitor in shipping. from Newegg.com Pros: good picture and easy to install.quick shipping from newegg as usual. Cons: this thing lasted 6 months then blacked out on me.very cheap quality.would not tell anyone to buy this.very disappointed. My other issue is the legs - because of the way they angle - I cannot get my keyboard right up under the monitor.
