Best Modems for Fax

i haven't try sending fax with it yet, will try it soon.

i needed a way to send and receive faxes from home with my macbook and it does exactly what i needed.

purchased to be used with both mbp & imac for faxing docs direct from computer.

now that some genius at apple decided we no longer need a phone connector, this really fills the need if you have to send a real fax.

great choice for fax server.cons: could be slow for data since it is internal and a winmodem

this modem's use is only for faxing.

i hoped it was since it said "voice/data/fax" but it's not!

i use this modem only for occasional fax connections.

i bought this modem to replace a creative modemblaster that would not hangup after sending or receiving a fax.

was recognized by my asus eee and all programs working with fax-modems.

no fax software.

it was up and running in 5 minutes.i needed a pci slot so i removed my pci fax modem and replaced it with this usb fax modem.

other thoughts: i use these as fax cards for my windows 2003 sbs office server.

pros: cheap pricecons: software would not install.other thoughts: i ordered this to use the fax functionality on my winxp pro pc.

tried it with sbs 2003 fax services.

cons: i run sbs2003 and wanted to use this modem for my faxing needs but it would not receive any faxes without errors.

pros: needed for receiving faxes on computer.

pros: great modem if you have to use dial up or you need a fax modem.
