Best Modems for Dsl

i also have the linksys wireless cable/dsl router, makes a great home networking solution.

only setup issue i had was that i am using a linksys wireless access point dsl/cable router and i needed to disconnect this for my cable company to setup my new modem for some reason.

after discovering our dsl connection had been degraded by new construction in the area it was time to try cable.

using it with windows xp and a linksys etherfast cable/dsl router.

we use cell phones and dsl was just too expensive.

i had heard that the motorola sb5120 works much better with routers, so at this point i had exhausted all other options with nothing more to lose before going back to dsl.

(new neighboorhood w/o telephone polls) get dsl becuase it's not really dsl it's a gigbit fiberconnection that's clocked down at the edge network using radius.

i recently switched from dsl to comcast cable high speed internet.

worth the initial investment if your sick of your dsl connection.cons: none come to mind so far.

pros: its a decent modem for what it does, but!!cons: warning: if you have a dsl connection then this isn't for you, that was the mistake i made.
