Very reliable! Cons: Design only allows it to stand straight up and I would have preferred one that sits flat on the top of my desk...but this has nothing to do with how the modem does it's job. Other Thoughts: An excellent cable modem. It supports the 'speed booster' technology which allows your speed to burst super fast for a short time when you start a download or upload. from Newegg.com My speeds with Comcast went from 6mb to 21mb after installing this modem. Cons: Power level sensitivity Other Thoughts: I was having issues with my old Linksys 1.1 modem that is 7 years old. So I decided to upgrade to this SB5120. Newegg, as usual rocked with the shipping and I got the modem in 3 days. from Newegg.com Cons: Bizarre shape doesn't like to stack on other switches/routers very easily. Annoying 'standby' switch can easily be pressed accidentally. Other Thoughts: I recommend this product to anyone in need of a cable modem. I have used the USB connection only once for a short while but it seemed to work all right -- the Ethernet works very well. from Newegg.com Pros: Generally stable, much better log feedback compared to earlier surfboard models. Up load went from just over 300 to over 1500kb/sec. My old modem was a Motorola 3100 that was no-telling-how-old.
