I had to replace my 20 year-old Sunbeam mixer last month and since I didn't want to spend $200-300+ on the Kitchen Aid I decided to go with what I had already experienced and so far I have been pleased. I chose this model because it came with glass bowls, the whisk attachments, as well as the dough hooks. from Amazon.com I owned a Sunbeam Mixmaster for twenty years, and it was great, so when it finally burned out, I decided to replace it with another Mixmaster. The motor is strong and goes through the heaviest batters. from Amazon.com I am very pleased with my new mixer and know I've made an excellent purchase. It's heavier duty than my previous Sunbeam stand mixer that I had for about 14 years before it "died." My new mixer has a deeper bowl so the beaters are a little harder to remove without getting some batter on the edge of the bowl...have to remember to slide the bowl over to the smaller bowl position to prevent this. And, I'm getting used to pushing the button to raise and lower the beaters instead of just grabbing the top handle and raising and lowering them. from Amazon.com After hard thought, I just bought this to replace a Sunbeam 2366 purchased a couple of years ago, which looks identical except for the size of the motor.
