I have been wanting a new hand mixer for some time. I have a large stand mixer. from Cooking.com bought this from amazon to upgrade from an old, inexpensive hand mixer. i'm fine with the mixer being heavy - expected that from other reviews, makes it feel solid. from Amazon.com I own the Cuisinart Power Advantage 5-Speed Handheld Mixer for months now and I am quiet happy with it.
