I bought this mixer because I've used my mother's over and over and was very satisfied. When I got it home, I discovered that the bowls did not lock in place as did my mother's mixer. I called and was told by Sunbeam that the mixers with the bowls that lock are those with DUAL motors. The model numbers are 2346, 2349, 2351, 2347, 2348, 2375, 2617. from Walmart.com I have always wanted to have a mixer that looked like my grandmas. The day I saw the 2346 at the store I loved it.
