I looked at several mixers, including a KitchenAid which was cost over $100 more than the Hamilton Beach. I really think the Hamilton Beach is a great mixer for the money and will do everything the more expensive models will. from Cooking.com Hamilton Beach is definitely a good brand but I purchsed this specific item because of the color.
