i get a nice even cook and temperature, no reheating going on in my place :).all in all, i'd say it's a solid 4/5, just for the slightly uneven toaster.

the only con i found is that there is no automatic temp shut off for reheating of food items.

being a rather serious cook, i found the unit a great helper to preparing meals, reasonable at roasting/baking and very good at reheating (not overheating the food and destroying it's texture).
reheating muffins and breads has amazing results - they seem fresh baked and, unlike breads normally heated in a microwave, do not harden in a minute.
convection oven functionality: for smaller items that you don't want to stick into an oven (or for many other things, like reheating food), the convection oven is really handy, and...frankly, fun.

it has a lot of settings for reheating and such, but i usually just simply punch in the time i want it to cook.
we do little cooking in the microwave - more reheating coffee, or warming up food that has already been cooked on the stove.
and i don't use a microwave for much more than reheating food very occasionally.
