i wouldnt use it to cook an entire dinner, but for defrosting, reheating, or quick cooking, a great unit.
it works great for popcorn and reheating small plates of food, which is exactly what i wanted it for.
whatever your cooking habits, it is hard to imagine that it wouldn't be useful at least for reheating.

this model is more powerful so we've had to adjust our timings for thawing and reheating items.
lots of power (1300 watts) so food reheating is very quick.

but, so far we have just used the microwave for reheating and popcorn.
the bottom line: because this microwave is easy to use and has so many features, it is designed for many different uses beyond just reheating food.

the product size, color, and some display buttons specially the sensor reheating; quick minute; and easy to see start and stop real silver buttons on a black background are what made me selected this
we use this microwave every day for reheating, cooking foods from scratch, cooking frozen entrees, popping popcorn and more.
the "quick minute" is also very helpful when reheating that cup of coffee.
