although the handle is not stainless steel, it doesn't look cheap.
including size, look, cooking selections & lastly, a handle to grasp at the door.
if there's any significant drawback to this unit, it will likely come from the door handle.
the front is brushed stainless steel and black glass with a shiney chrome handle (great looking).
other brands have a protruding handle, {could hit tall people in the face} the handle on my new sharp is flush and much more stylish.

basically you just press the "sensor reheat" button and press start, the microwave handles the rest.

plus, the interior is spacious and can handle my large pyrex cookers.
(my last microwave had the handle on the door which allowed you to close it more quietly.) as far as cooking goes, it also works great.
then the door handle broke and is not working properly.
