i knew i wanted the product, had been searching several stores & panasonic web site trying to locate this particular model.
wish i could have found one in brick and mortar store before purchasing online, but microwave ovens are becoming difficult to locate locally.
when our old microwave oven died, i looked at a couple of stores for a replacement, but wasn't finding one that met my needs.
we'd also looked in 4 stores at what was available locally.
the bottom line: if you can find it in store, give it a try.
two problems: (1) the memory feature will only store one setting at a time.
having the toaster built in was worth waiting for in-store p/u.
i purchased this smaller microwave based on the reviews here, since it isn't offered at their stores.
the ship to store was an easy way to buy and saves money on shipping.
with the $25 off coupon, i paid $115 for it, which i feel is a good price (after comparing similar models at different stores).
i spent a lot of time both in stores and online looking for the right microwave.
it was impossible to find in any retail stores.
this microwave cooks fine, and looks better than the models i saw in stores (which were awful).
was extremely pleased they had it in black, none of the stores around us had it in black, just white and stainless
i saw this at a local store for $20 more plus tax.
review: i bought the sharp r-420 1100 watt microwave oven from the home depot on line store a year ago.
i wanted to update my kitchen and could not find this model in stores so i went to the internet.
i ordered this microwave because i recently had back surgery and was unable to go to a retail store to make the purchase.
(out of stock in local stores) i like having a large handle you just pull instead of those stupid push pads.
it was bought on-line...on my way to the store right now to test the 30 day return policy.
the store was not helpfull and im not going to shop at circut city again either!!
