When our counter top microwave of over 13 years finally stopped working, we had to look for a new microwave.
it has many functions and several easy ways to heat things quickly with a push of a button or two.
the only reason we bought a new dacor microwave was because of one power surge too many from puget sound energy!
pros: easy to clean, powerful, quiet, simple display, versatile cons: repair best uses: frozen food, leftovers, vegetables
I love the microwave, but am replacing the same product in an earlier incarnation.
the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because when you use the sensor heat it makes a strange ticking noise next time you use it.
i use it mainly to warm up stuff for my small children.
pretty easy process.
the controls are easy to understand and offer a variety of pre-programmed options.
Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is durability (more related to prior oven).
the digital programming is easy to use, the led display is clear.
pros: size, style, price cons: does not perform past a year
pros: attractive, nice size/power/features combo.
it's compact enough to fit sideways on a narrow counter, which is what she needed.
cons: it's quiet, but i've had quieter microwaves
cons: noisy vent fan that doesn't do anything.
pros: decent size for home use.
great defrost, potato, popcorn functions.
I have also had the handle melt and the display has failed and become unreadable.
I purchased this microwave just over a month ago from one of the larger home improvement stores.
My gripe is with Maytag.
very very loud fan noise.no temperature sensor.unimpressive power.
I agree with the previous review about the fan...it's very loud!!!, but I'm already used to it.
Pros: Easy to use
Pros: Looks pretty, simple to use.
It's the right size for my apartment too since it's 900 volts it's doesn't overload the circuits.
This is the "mini" bag size that isn't very common.
It replaces a 900 watt Emerson that died after 4 years & alot of use.
What's great about it:?Cooks well and has nice features
Would recommend this microwave overall--some reservation re pending class action.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this microwave to anyone who's looking for an inexpensive quality microwave!?
this microwave came with the house.
Pros: Good design, works well, fits on a standard kitchen shelf.
