I have had an Amana microwave since the 70's. I prefer the brand since it comes from the originator of microwave ovens. from Ajmadison.com First give my kudos to [...] I needed the right width and height to fit it in the built in "box" to replace a 22 yr old Panasonic microwave (which finally broke). With only a few that were the correct size, I chose Amana because this company was one of the original manufacturers of the microwave oven. I was not wrong. from Ajmadison.com Love this microwave. I had always had an Amana, but when my last one quit working, I could not find this brand in my area, so I bought another brand.
