Best GE Microwaves for Home Use

just replaced old ge microwave (which lasted for 6 years) with this convection microwave.

we bought this unit recently as a replacement to another over the range unit where we had an unpleasant experience (different retailer, different manufacturer) - the unit went dead after only 2 years

we bought this w/ other ge profile products (dishwasher & refrigerator) from pc richards and i'm very glad we did.

when replacing my last over the range microwave, i was excited to get this one so that i could use it as a convection oven when my other oven was in use and to speed up my cooking time.

pros: nice features - price - ease of installation cons: none noticed yet "i purchased this as a replacement for my ge spacemaker model jvm1542 which took a dump on new years day.that one performed

no more ge microwaves for me!

i will not buy another ge microwave these things should last longer than a few years.

definately recommend ge microwave.

they would not schedule an on site servce for this.i mentioned to ge customer service that i'll never buy a ge microwave again.i did buy a sharp this time.

as for the ge microwave: price of less than $50 from walmart is excellent value.
