No multi pattern but I can work around that. Quality: Solid construction, Screen is well plated and body has nice tinted finish the shock mount is ok too. I have had one for about a year and a half and I like it almost as much as the AKG 3000B it is a good looking microphone Value: A AKG for under 200 dollars Desirability: I would not throw it out of the studio )ut it is strictly for recording audio) Sound: This mic delivers sound quality comparable to mics costing a lot more.
