Nice and warm, great on vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion, nice as an additional room mic for drums. Excellent mic for the value... Sound: I've worked in radio for the past 8 years and have worked with many different microphones and I would have no problem putting this up against any mic I have used. We currently use the KSM 32 at the radio station I'm at, and I prefer my 27 hands down.
