I got this card reader for use with my MacBook Pro which lives inside a Pelican briefcase. This card reader fits perfectly in a pouch on the briefcase and what's more, it has just two slots, CF & SD, which happens to be the only cards I'll ever need to read. from Amazon.com My old USB CF card reader was taking forever with my new UDMA CF card (used in a Canon 5D mark ii). This UDMA CF card reader has a better transfer rate. from Amazon.com I'd given away my CF/SD card reader that traveled with my laptop and purchased this as a replacement. I originally gave a different card reader, only to find out that not all card readers work with an 4 Gig camera memory card.
