Best Media Streamers for Divx

it plays divx movies but you need a fast pc hosting the server software as the divx movies are 'transcoded' on the fly.

basically gives you a cheap small pvr client that can also do music and pictures etc.also supports divx as well wit beta software - worth it for that alone

unhappy with lack of ability to process divx or any other codec other than mpg, but with that being my only complaint, i'm going to just convert all my files to mpg2.

i must be doing something wrong (or good) though because the server software that came with it has played all my videos (divx, mp4, vob) with no problem and that's wirelessly.

you should be able to set this up -- biggest limitation is it does not play divx movies only xvid, and it would'nt play some dvd-r's i had created that generally would play on my other dvd player.

i am using the 320 to moslty stream xvid/divx/mp4 video.

also, if it is not playing your divx or xvid files, try changing the fourcc code in the files.

i have also read that you cant play divx but can play xvid.

still can't figure out why microsoft and others don't come out with support for xvid and divx.

lockups other thoughts: have had this for about a week, and have been trying to get it to play divx, and mp4.

a big disappointment is lack of divx support, but a free download called nic's fourcc changer will adjust your divx files to appear to the extender as xvid, which it does support.

divx codec (even though it's an mpeg 4 codec) will not work.

cons: does not play files with divx format (even though the pc plays them fine).
