This setup works! Don't even waste your money getting the less expensive 2.4gHz units sold elsewhere; cordless phones and other transmitting devices use this crowded frequency range and you will get interference on your TV. The AVS- 5811 system is easy to connect and there is no fancy programming for your TV/Cable/Satellite remote to work. I used this setup to relay from one of our satellite boxes in the master bedroom to a small (13") TV in another bedroom. from Bhphotovideo.com I'm using the devices with Cox Communications Digital Cable Box with no problems.
