i am pleased with the screen size and i'm glad i choice to go with this screen size instead of the 13" the only thing i wish it had was a smartmedia, sd or xd port.
the extra screen size is very nice to have and the machine is not all that big.
when closed, its a sleek minimalist work-of-art that looks smaller than its massive 17" screen size.
the macbook air has this, but is a no-go for me because of the smaller screen and resolution, and the 17" is *for me* too big for lots of lugging around or use on a plane in economy class.
i mainly chose the macbook pro over the macbook due to the screen size and a much better lcd screen.
integrated webcam with very good field of view and resolution for its size.

unless you are really concerned about the final few pixels of 130dpi resolution which the glossy screen seems to bring out, or the pop-out color of the glossy, the anti-glare is just as good, and
the mac mini does have a mini-dvi video port and apple provides a mini-dvi to dvi adapter, but it won't run at full 2560x1900 resolution since the adapter isn't dual-dvi capable.
i've hooked it up to my sony bravia tv (1366x768 screen resolution) via the vga input using a mini-dvi to vga female adapter cable.
amazon's return process, however, provided a painless and speedy resolution.
note: i read one review saying displayport-vga cable does not allow more than 1600x1200 resolution.
the colors are rich and we enjoy 1920x1080 screen resolution..
if this were my only computer, i'd probably be complaining about the screen size, but for my uses it is just right.
adjusting everything from resolution to rotation couldn't be any easier.
good resolution 1200 x 800 13.3" display and video card can drive a 30" monitor 2560x1600 at full resolution.
running windows xp via bootcamp, i was able to play cod4, l4d, and cs:s all using medium to high settings at native resolution, all the while getting 40+ fps in each game.
the display is clear, 1280x800 resolution is sufficient, viewing angle is ok, and reflections haven't been a problem at all so far.
i can process files in the 500mb size using high resolution scans of 4x5 and 8x10 sheet film from an epson 4990 photo pro scanner.
the screen is absolutely gorgeous (as is often mentioned by steve himself), and the built in isight camera is way better than most off the shelf web cams you can buy - in terms of both resolution and
plus, in windows, i can play portal at the native resolution.
the mb134 resolution is extremely bright in comparison to my toshiba.
i can play the latest games like call of duty 4 maxed out on windows vista at native resolution with no slow down online.
of my computer life, learning the skill on the very first one,but this little machine ticks all the boxes and comes all ready to go....very clear screen resolutions....wish the battery lasted longer!
other than that, it does have a small screen for the price, but the resolution is the same as a 15 inch pc.
-the screen size can feel somewhat small if you are working with graphics, yet financially it was difficult for me to make the 1,000 dollar jump to the macbook pro.
when i am at home, i have this connected to a samusung 226 bw monitor and am blown away with the high resolution display.

-screen: my dell had a matte screen with good resolution for what it had to do.
also, the max resolution of 1280 by 800 was at first surprising.
the weight is good and the screen size is perfectly adequate.
what's strange is that the resolution in vmware fusion would go past 1280x800 without actually having to scroll off the screen.
before this i had a semi-top of the line 15" asus with a high resolution screen and all the bells and whistles one could ever want with a laptop.

the 13" with 1280 x 800 resolution, it's very bright, clear and you can "see" everything.
the 13 inch lcd is just the right balance between screen size and portability.
one area of improvement is screen size.
the display has great resolution, color and brightness, and os x is very visually appealing and slick.
it is fast and the screen resolution at 1920 x 1200 is astonishing.
however, due to the increased screen size, the new macbook pro seems even slimmer (it actually *is* slightly slimmer than the g4 in case you wonder).
that said, i chose to go with the higher end 15" version - i probably don't need it, but i plan to do a fair amount of video editing and perhaps some high resolution projection - warranting the
i love everything else about my mbp - the better screen resolution, the backlit keyboard, the speakers, the speed of the processor (even though it's only a 2.2 ghz), and everything else.
my only complaint about the mbp is the screen resolution.
the only thing a thinkpad has an advantage on is the higher resolution 15" displays.
other thoughts: to the guy that said it has a 1920x1200 resolution, stop lying.
