it runs smooth, its easy to use for a first time mac user and the computer is efficient in converting files for you.
- the battery life when i run it on wifi and surfing net, playing music etc was shy of the 5 hours mac had previously advertised..came to about 4 hours which is not 5 but still pretty cool.

now, the ability to run windows on mac notebooks has changed that and it is possible to have the best of both worlds.
i'm running it on my 5 year old hp laptop with 512mb ram and it beats all other windows os hands down.

cmd keys instead ctrl keys - cmd key is window key in pc, i could download/install development sdk and start browsing/running sample codes without any problem on the very day i received the product.
the mac mini does have a mini-dvi video port and apple provides a mini-dvi to dvi adapter, but it won't run at full 2560x1900 resolution since the adapter isn't dual-dvi capable.
apps such as safari, mac mail and microsoft office run flawlessly and fast.
i actually run my cpu monitor and my tv from this machine and it works excellent.
i am a professional photographer using adobe cs4 and running a 25.5" lcd monitor and it performs flawlessly and quickly.
also, i have had my mac on for about 8 days now without a restart and it is still running smoothly.
the mac os runs flawlessly and intuitively, i have yet to have any problems with it.
this is an excellent laptop which runs mac os x leopard or windows xp very nicely.
you nvere have to wate for any thing can run many things with out the computer slowing down.and it is the best vista computer you can ever have

this particular laptop has a great processor in it and runs flawlessly with the 08 office.
i have an old compaq pent4 3ghz running xp and it smoked the new hp.
i followed the simple instructions and before i knew it, i was up and running and connected to my wireless network.
it performs wonderfully, it's fast both with mac os and vista, games run great.
the airline adapter does not charge the battery but does run the laptop and allows it to charge my itouch without any problem.
it means people who bought an apple in 2000 can run the latest os while for me to run windows 7 i have to buy a new laptop that is less than 2 years old, same thing when vista was released couldn't

heat up to 162 degrees which prohibited you from using it near your lap (and that was only with in one hour of use) ive had this one on for about10hours now and its running at 114 degrees i love it.
for example, whereas my old mbp ran extremely hot (a common complaint about that model), the new c2d product runs cooler than almost any other laptop i've ever used.
home computer is a flat screen imac 733 mhz/os10.4.8 which has run great for almost 5 years, so it really was a no brainer to buy another mac (mb or mbp....i think the choice is clear).
despite the hype i'm not a big fan of os x, so i'm primarily running windows xp using apple's boot camp product, which allows just that.
this is my first mac and i was impressed with how easy it was to get up and running.
a good indication of addiction would be if i am so afraid of product discontinuation that i buy an identical one while available even if my current one is running well.
it took me only about 30 minutes to get it up and running, and that includes the time it took to get it out of the box.
i am totally happy with the experience of setting it up and getting it up and running.
i haven't run into any wall and still recommend it with 5 stars.

you can run windows on a mac too and guess what it runs way better on the mac then any of my pcs i have.
if you are planing to use it for gaming...then i would recommend a mac book pro or a imac...this will not run a lot of ea games like need for speed....
granted, it was running the 1st edition of mac os x, but it felt slow.
runs mac os and windows xp, very good for an all around travel laptop.
and hey it can even run windows - but why would you want to?
