the brightness of my lcd screen is a tad dim, but when you use it all day you can hardly notice much.
but there's some bad thing that i've noticed, which is not apple fault, the dead pixel; the screen still got this old annoying problem.
much deeper than my and her thinkpad.
the screen is a marvel, 1920 x 1200 with lcd backlight.
screen resolution : 1280*800
the screen is bright and sharp, the construction of the case is gorgeous.
i'm coming from a 17" pc, and since the display was a bit more squared, i don't feel that the screen size decrease is too noticeable
of my computer life, learning the skill on the very first one,but this little machine ticks all the boxes and comes all ready to go....very clear screen resolutions....wish the battery lasted longer!
i had been using an ibm t30 thinkpad for several years and was reasonably satisfied with it's performance.
other than that, it does have a small screen for the price, but the resolution is the same as a 15 inch pc.
this laptop wasn't meant for hardcore gaming or hardcore video editing or photoshopping as the lack of screen space and dedicated video board makes work a bit tedious.
it works....there are no blue screens of death, no conflicts......
its a pretty good product but a few things could have been better like the keyboard...it definitely could have been faster to type, you just dont see the words on the screen as fast you type...
before this i had a semi-top of the line 15" asus with a high resolution screen and all the bells and whistles one could ever want with a laptop.
i love the mag power cord, the compact size of it (although i was worried about the small screen size -- which has proved only difficult when reading and typing in word, so i just use the zoom
the unit itself is a bit heavy (slightly over 5 lbs) but then again it's got a beautiful 13.3" screen & packs in a lot of power.
the screen is bright, crisp, and easy to read and the keyboard is better than any laptop (and even some desktop) keyboards i've ever used.
and there is a tiny bit of roughage on the screen where it closes, but i only notice if i look really hard.
i compared the specs side by side to my pro and found it to be almost completely caught up, except for the video card and display screen size.

the 13 inch screen is perfect for my needs.
i was previously lugging around an ibm/lenovo thinkpad, which got extremely heavy when walking around airports for hours on end.
i initially had shopped for pc laptops with larger screens, and was a bit hesitant to get the 13" screen, but it's worked out well for me - i use a dvi to hdmi cable to work at home on a 22"
my old macbook would spin it's fans up at the drop of a hat: screensaver, webcam, flash videos (though flash on mac is pretty much poor regardless of your macbook model.
i've also found a lot of "mac-only" stuff from smaller developers which has really helped me with productivity.
close the screen, leave it for hours, open the screen, and 15 seconds later you can start working again.

they should make one that is a 8-10 inch screen!!
also it feels about as heavy but is noticeably smaller when carrying it around.
pros: larger screen, stylish design, easy transition from windows to mac, user friendly
pros: * powerful performance * sleek style * thoughtful details * large screen yet still lightweight
pros: awesome computer looks great, great performance, big screen cant go wrong.
