Best Mac Desktops for Movie

i owned a powermac g5 dual 2.0 ghz before the video card died.

4x faster at video encoding and cs4 with multiple hard drives installed and 8gb of ram compared to imac line

the video card that came with the system was fine for nearly any use, but i needed to have something faster for the 3d work i do, so i found out that replacing the stock card was also very easy.

lately, i've needed to switch from standard definition video editing to high definition.

i'm on a budget, so i got the standard config, stock video card, and added 2g of ram for a total of 5 gigs.

i still love windows but for movies and photos there is no beating a mac.

the nicest thing about an imac, i think, is that it has a built-in dvd player,

this computer is very user friendly, and the large screen greatly enhances videos and photos.

the back-lit glass expanse of screen is ideal for viewing my opera and movie dvds (with a couple of bose speakers attached to take advantage of the imac's clean internal 24-watt audio amplifier).

my mother's hp with 4gb of ram, same speed processor and dedicated video graphics memory-requires a few minute to boot up to a usable environment.
