I am a photographer with a small town newspaper, and needed to replace the computer I had at home. Thought it would be so cool to own the iMac, since I have one at work. After I received the computer, we discovered it won't work for dial-up.

I'm a long-time Mac user. This computer was an upgrade from a 20" iMac G4 (the lamp-like one with articulating arm and half-dome).

A pure joy to use Strengths: Fast, very quiet, beautiful screen, monitor spanning, runs OS X+ Windows+Linux, handy built-in webcam, highly portable(!) Weaknesses: Finicky SuperDrive, mushy keyboard Summary: I'm a long-time Mac user. This computer was an upgrade from a 20" iMac G4 (the lamp-like one with articulating arm and half-dome).

You'd better work harder and harder ! 'cause it's too expensive .
If I have enough money to buy ,I 'll take a laptop instead of buying this . Apple's products are always too expensive.
from Yahoo.com
Pros: Super fast, ease of use, sleek design
Cons: Longer warranty, opting for a black one is more expensive
I've always liked the imac. But I just could never really get into desktop computers.
from Yahoo.com
A cheap upgrade, but a complaint regardless. Second, the Mighty mouse is awful. The ball and only a single side button are compromises Apple made to keep the design simple. Thankfully both the RAM and mouse shortcomings are easily rectified.

This machine has a lot of bells and whistles but they don't always work nearly as well as advertised. The biggest problem I have with it is that it freezes and has to be restarted at least once every day and often 2-3 times daily.

I bought this iMac after years of using Windows-based machines because I was tired of them crashing on a daily basis. I also thought it was an attractive design.

I used to use a PC, and still have a Dell laptop but once i got the imac, i was in love, and have never looked back. Its beautiful, easy to use, and boots up really quick, and never crashes.

-I hate to think different and part company with the crowd, but here's my experience with the iMac. I'm just trying to help people, OK, so blame the product designers, assemblers, and warranty people, not me.
