As advertised brings things in closer as all telephoto lens do. Only wish it would fit into my underwater equipment I have for my video camera. from Amazon.com I got this for my Sony DCR-DVD505. It works well, but you have to be careful not to pull in too close or you get a dark ring around the video where you see the inside of the lens frame. from Amazon.com I used this 2x lens for the first time on my Sony DCR-PC350 - a good quality DV camcorder with a fairly good lens Carl Zeiss lens. The lens comes with a keep-safe pouch and two lens caps. from Amazon.com I don't know the difference between the "high grade" and "normal" versions but I went with the high grade. Seems to have worked out well. from Mwave.com Very pleased with results. The lens feels durable due to aluminum construction. As the lens is relatively heavy, it takes a little practice to screw the lens on straight. from Mwave.com
