The posture. The Papo dinosaurs are known for extremely detailed figures reminiscent of the Jurassic Park models. This Tyrannosaurus is no exception. Astonishingly detailed, this model would have been on my collector's shelf in a heartbeat were it not for its horrible posture. from Amazon.com To the untrained eye this is probably a great toy. However there is one major flaw that's very unsightly to me, its posture. A Tyrannosaurus NEVER stood like this, it stood with the body parallel to the ground with its tail acting as a counterbalance. This posture is the pre-1990s look, when scientists were very crude. from Amazon.com So it was christmas time and believe it or not all my 5-year-old son wanted was a t-rex, he has a lot of other dinosaurs that we have picked up for 1 or 2 or 3 dollars but this was the king of them all.
